Who We Are

We are a congregation of independent, fundamental, Bible-believing Baptists, seeking to serve the Lord in truth and righteousness.  What does all that mean?

Independent

We are not connected to any ecclesiastical hierarchy. Unlike some other groups such as the Southern Baptist Association, Catholics, United Methodists, all our governance structure and operations are at the local congegration level.

Fundamental

Fundamental in that we believe and follow the Fundamentals of the faith. We believe in Salvation by grace through faith, the virgin birth of Christ, Christ’s bodily resurrection, etc.

Bible-Believing

At the core of being a Bible-Believer is simply believing what the Bible says is literal and so, unless it would be impossible for it to be otherwise.

Baptist

We are Baptist in denomination, we believe and follow the central ideas that are involved in being a Baptist. So we believe in the individual priesthood of the believer, the Eternal Security of the believer, etc.
